MOONHEE JO, PT, DPT

Founder

Dr. Moonhee Jo is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Virginia, Maryland, New York and California. He received his bachelor degree in Inje University and Southwestern University, post-professional doctor of physical therapy from Dominican College in New York.

Dr. Jo is strongly committed to staying focused on new and current treatments in Physical therapy. He has completed numerous post-graduate courses focusing on the understanding of the musculoskeletal system. Some of his continuing education has included: Maitland Australian Physiotherapy, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, Schroth Method Scoliosis Therapy, Spinal Manipulation and Dry needling courses.

Dr. Jo has worked as a physical therapist for over 15 years, (since 2007). His practice focuses on assessment and treatment of orthopedic clients. His “Hands-on” skills includes: Joint Mobilization, Muscle Energy Technique, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF), Soft Tissue Mobilization, Myofascial Release Technique, and Trigger Point Release.

Dr. Jo combines these manual treatments with specific exercise training based on the needs of the individual. He strongly incorporates postural re-education and correct movement into his treatment plan as he finds that a significant cause of pain and injury arises from posture related problems.

 


Youngju Hong, PT, MS, DPT

Co - Founder

Dr. Youngju Hong is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, California and New York.  She has received her bachelor degree from Busan Catholic University and did her master in biomechanics and movement analysis from Yonsei University in Korea and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican College in New York.

Dr. Hong has over 18 years worth of Physical Therapy experience to include working with a wide spectrum of clients, including adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Her skills are aimed at improving correct normal movement pattern and then  reducing long-term pain in normal daily activity among our patients.

In her personal time, Dr. Hong loves to spend her free time with her young daughter and her family. They love to go hiking and bask in all of the beautiful scenery in our local area. When you can’t find her with her family or at the office you may be able to catch her playing a round of golf!


Clare Steiner

Office Manager

Clare is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 14 years of experience in patient care. Clare is known for her compassionate approach to patient interactions and her ability to problem-solve efficiently, ensuring that both patients and providers have a smooth and positive experience.

Clare grew up in Fauquier County, Virginia and moved to the Woodbridge area after completing classes at Old Dominion University campus.

Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her three young children. She currently enjoys experimenting with new recipes to cook for her family. 

Jennifer Driscoll

Licensed Massage Therapist

Jenni has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2017. She grew up the daughter of a chiropractor and became inspired to study massage as a result of witnessing in his practice, that in most instances, the body has the innate ability to help heal itself when provided the right conditions. She holds a massage license in the States of Nevada, South Dakota, and Virginia.

She enjoys meeting new people, learning how the body is all connected, and believes in the power of touch to help facilitate healing of the body, mind, and spirit.  

She is excited to be part of the BMH Team!

My name is Tatiana and I'm highly compassionate in helping others feel better. Seeing patients on a weekly bases and getting updates has really helped want to keep learning to improve their visit and well being of the patients. I got into physical therapy to connect with different people and help in their journey to great health.

Outside of work, I'm a mother to a beautiful boy, I also enjoy cooking for my family and getting outdoors and making memories together.
